Onondaga County Board of Elections:

You can register in person at the Board of Elections Office or by mail. You may also register at any state agency participating in the National Voter Registration Act, on any business day throughout the year

You can call the Board of Elections at (315) 435-8683 to request a voter application.

Print and complete the form, then sign and date it.

Mail or hand deliver Voter Registration Forms to: Onondaga County Board of Election John H. Mulroy Civic Center-15th Floor 421 Montgomery Street Syracuse, New York 13202

ALL FORMS and APPLICATIONS MUST BE MAILED or HAND DELIVERED TO THE BOARD of ELECTIONS.

Registration applications can not be be faxed.

KEY DATES

Fall Primary Day - Tuesday, September 14, 2010 Polls open 12 Noon - 9:00 PM

General Election - Tuesday, November 2, 2010 Polls open 6:00 AM - 9:00 PM


IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER FOR THE SEPTEMBER PRIMARY

REGISTRATION: Mail registration must be postmarked no later than August 20th and received by the Board of Elections by August 25th. You may register in person at the Board of Elections up to August 20th.

Change of address from registered voters must be received by August 25th.

VOTING BY ABSENTEE BALLOT: Last day to postmark application for ballot is September 7th. Last day to apply in person for ballot is September 13th. Last day to postmark ballot is September 13th (must be received by the Board of Elections by September 21st). Last day to deliver ballot in person to the Board of Elections is September 14th.

REGISTRATION: Mail registration must be received by the Board of Elections no later than October 8th and received by the Board of Elections no later than October 13th. You may register in person at the Board of Elections no later than October 8th.

Change of address from registered voters must be received by October 13th.

VOTING BY ABSENTEE BALLOT: Last day to postmark application is October 26th. Last day to apply in person for ballot is November 1st. Last day to postmark ballot is November 1st (must be received by the Board of Elections by November 9th). Last day to deliver ballot in person is November 2nd.
